Have you ever heard of LGM ? L.G.M. stands for Libre Graphics Meeting (libre is a french word meaning free). This year, this meeting between users and opensource graphics software will take place in Brussels, from 27th May to 30th May.

You are willing to learn how to use graphics software ? Go to the LGM !On WebDesign 4 All, we love opensource software and among the big opensource software family, we love graphics software. Those softwares are available to download and easily bear the comparison with the proprietary ones. We have all the right to use them, copy them and even modify them legally.

You are used to other softwares ? You don't know Gimp, Inkscape or Alchemy ? The LGM are the opportunity to got you started with them all in a good spirit ! This year Art-School students are invited with their teachers. The goal is to demonstrate the possibilities offered by opensource software with a focus set on the workshops. Computer graphic designers, advanced users and developers will attend the meeting. Developers will be invited to disccuss the future of software and the future of shared projects among graphics software.

Thanks to the past L.G.M. and work sessions held during those meetings, a lot of improvments have been implemented. For instance, source files are interoperable, ICC profiles are defined for the whole graphic process stream, and so on... This event is therefore important for the opensource world.

Come discover the potential of graphics software in the gorgeous environment offered by Brussels' city.
